Trattoria Lucca; Bringing Tuscany to Chucktown

italian food

Trattoria Lucca is located at 41 bogard street in the heart of the Elliotborough neighborhood.    The restaurant is ran by Head Chef, Ken Vedrinski, who has found his passion for Italian cuisine through cooking in his grandmother’s kitchen under her passion-infused, Italian-influenced tutelage.  Vedrinski was awarded an Honorary Doctorate Degree in Culinary Arts from Johnson and Wales University which is evident if you have had a chance any one of his amazing dishes.

Trattoria Lucca’s goal is to provide a true Italian dining experience to the Cannonborough-Elliotborough community.  Lucca obtained it’s inspiration from the ancient Tuscan city of Lucca, Italy, renowned for its olive oils, which are shared generously at the restaurant.  Lucca imports many olive oils, Italian sausages and cheeses as well as maintains a great selection of wine to provide a very authentic and delicious Italian dinning experience.  Their menu is reasonably priced so stop in and enjoy a little part of Tuscany.  Also, check them out on the web at http://luccacharleston.com/.
