Dave’s Carry Out has been serving the Cannonborough community since 2006 since when it moved to its corner storefront located at Morris street and Coming Street. If you walk by the smell of delicious fried food fills the air and entices any passer by to step inside. Dave’s specialty dish is it’s fried shrimp dish which comes with a bed of rice and french fries and is served on a styrofoam dish.
The chef, Daves son, spends hours everyday breading each shrimp and each filet of fish individual. It is mesmerizing to watch his effort and passion when it comes to his fried seafood and if you ever have a chance to eat at Dave’s you can taste it. Although the name, Dave’s Carry Out entails that it is not a sit down restaurant there are tables available and it provides an atmosphere that is welcoming to anyone at anytime of night.
